Attaching a Work Repository
- Open the Topology Navigator:
- Navigate to the Repositories panel.
- Create a New Work Repository:
- Right-click the Work Repositories node.
- Select New Work Repository from the context menu.
- Work Repository Creation Wizard:
- The Work Repository Creation Wizard will open.
- Provide Connection Details:
- Technology: Select the technology that will host your work repository (default is Oracle).
- JDBC Driver: Choose the driver used to access the technology that will host the repository.
- JDBC URL: Enter the complete path of the data server that will host the work repository. (Note: JDBC Driver and URL are synchronized based on selected technology).
- User: Enter the User ID / login for the owner of the tables and host of the work repository.
- Password: Enter the password for this user.
- Test the Connection:
- Click Test Connection to verify that the connection is working correctly.
- Continue to Next Steps:
- Click Next to proceed.
- Enter Work Repository Password:
- Specify the password for the Oracle Data Integrator work repository you want to attach.
- Provide Work Repository Name:
- Enter the Name of the work repository you wish to attach.
- Finish:
- Click Finish to complete the process and attach the repository.
Deleting (Detaching) a Work Repository
- Expand Repositories Panel:
- In the Topology Navigator, expand the Repositories panel.
- Select Work Repository:
- Expand the Work Repositories node.
- Right-click the work repository you want to delete.
- Delete Work Repository:
- Select Delete from the context menu.
- Confirm Deletion:
- A confirmation dialog will appear. Click Yes to confirm.
- Completion:
- The work repository is detached from the master repository and removed from the Repositories panel in the Topology Navigator.
