- Navigate to the Load Plan:
- In either Designer Navigator or Operator Navigator, go to the Load Plans and Scenarios accordion.
- Select the Load Plan you wish to execute.
- Execute the Load Plan:
- Right-click on the selected Load Plan.
- Choose Execute from the context menu.
- Set Execution Parameters:
- In the Start Load Plan dialog, configure the following:
- Context: Select the context into which the Load Plan will be executed.
- Logical Agent: Choose the Logical Agent that will run the Load Plan.
- Variables Table: Enter the startup values for the variables used in the Load Plan.
- Confirm the Execution:
- Click OK to start the Load Plan.
- The Load Plan Started dialog will appear, confirming that the process has begun.
- Click OK to close the dialog.
- Monitor the Execution:
- The Load Plan execution begins, and an instance of the Load Plan is created.
- You can track the execution status in the Operator Navigator.
Important Notes:
- If you have not set the Limit Concurrent Executions option in the Concurrent Execution Controller on the Load Plan's Definition tab, multiple instances of the Load Plan could run simultaneously, which might lead to concurrent data operations. To avoid this, you should configure the Limit Concurrent Executions option.
- Purge Jobs: The OracleDIAgent runs purge jobs based on the Keep Log History (days) parameter in each Load Plan. By default, logs are retained for 7 days. You can adjust this to retain logs for a longer period if necessary. These purge jobs are internal and do not appear in the Operator panel.
